CONSTITUTION

VICTORY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL BIBLE ACADEMY

ARTICLE I NAME

Section 1 The name of this ministry is Victory Christian Fellowship International Bible Academy (VCF-IBA).

ARTICLE II PREAMBLE

Section 1 Mission: The mission of VCF-IBA is to educate and enable the born again Christian student ministers with a biblically-sound foundation in Spirit and in Truth.

Section 2 Vision: Fully equipped Called and anointed born again Christians propagating the pure Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in their spheres of influence.

ARTICLE III AUTHORITY

Section 1 This academy is a recognized institution of higher learning under Jeju Worship Church (aka VCF-Jeju), an officially approved organization by the Republic of Korea government.

Section 2 This academy is a spiritually recognized sub-ministry of Victory Christian Fellowship VCF [a registered 501(c)(3) charitable and non-profit organization].

Section 3 This organization will establish bylaws to govern administrative and procedural matters.

ARTICLE IV MEMBERSHIP

Section 1 Membership in the Academy shall be open to the current VCF-IBA faculty and staff in good standing at the Academy.

Section 2 Eligibility for membership are limited to those IAW Article IV, Section 1.

ARTICLE V OFFICERS

Section 1 The officers of VCF-IBA shall be a Director, Registrar and Treasurer.

Section 2 Officials are appointed by the Director.

ARTICLE VI MEETINGS

Section 1 Regular meetings shall be held monthly during the academic year and as required.

Section 2 The Director may call for Special meetings. As a courtesy, all members should be given a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the meeting time.

Section 3 Members must be present to vote.

Section 4 In order to vote a member must be in good standing.

ARTICLE VII FINANCES

Section 1 No dues required.

Section 2 Free-will love offerings are accepted.

ARTICE VIII AMENDMENTS

Section 1 Proposed amendments to this constitution shall be presented to the membership, in writing, one meeting prior to the meeting where the amendment will be voted upon.

Section 2 Constitution amendments require approval by two-thirds of the voting members present at a regular meeting. The amendment shall be effective immediately unless otherwise stipulated in the amendment.

 

BYLAWS

VICTORY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL BIBLE ACADEMY

Section I The officers of the VCF-IBA shall be the:

a. Director.

b. Registrar.

c. Treasurer.

d. Faculty.

e. Staff.

Section II Powers and Duties of Officers:

a. The Director shall serve as the lead officer of the Academy and shall preside at all meetings of the organization and shall prepare the agenda for meetings. The Director shall oversee the academy’s business operations and approve the academic curriculum.

b. The Registrar shall manage all Academy administrative matters including student enrollment and records. The Registrar shall attend all business meetings and take and codify the minutes of the meeting for official records.

c. The Treasurer shall handle all financial affairs and budgeting of the organization, maintain all necessary accounting records, and prepare financial reports for the membership. The Treasurer shall ensure that student ministers are current in their tuition payments and deposit it into the proper bank account.

d. The Director shall appoint the faculty (instructors) to instruct in their specific area of assignment. Instructors are responsible for providing high quality instructions in their courses. All instructors shall receive their orientation of the Academy conduct by the Director and adhere to the guidance.

e. The Director shall appoint staff in accordance with the needs of the Academy. Thus, the staff composition is flexible and shall be adjusted to the current needs of the Academy.

f. All personnel within the Academy shall be voluntary and shall not be compensated with a salary or wage.

Section III Qualifications necessary to hold office in VCF-IBA are as follows:

a. No educational qualifications are required to hold office.

b. All members are expected to continue to exhibit Christian character and behavior.

Section IV Meetings and Voting

a. Regular meetings shall be scheduled monthly during academic periods.

b. The Director may call for Special Meetings. All members must be given a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the meeting time.

c. A majority of members present is required to pass a motion. Five (5) members in good standing constitute a quorum.
